Events
Our events aim to inspire and support current and prospective black healthcare professionals in medicine and dentistry. As there are often issues that uniquely affect black healthcare professionals, it is becoming increasingly important that we support our current workforce as well as encouraging and providing advice to the next generation. We are open to attending events related to diversity and racial inequality, as well as providing personnel and information about medicine and dentistry as courses and careers.

Two years after both our organisations launched, we are so pleased to say our Annual Doctors and Dentists Q and A panel in collaboration with Melanin Medics was a huge success!

THANK YOU to all of the doctors and dentists who took time out of their busy schedules to enrich our attendees with their expertise. Our panel was outstanding - ranging from specialities such as aesthetic medicine to obstetrics and gynaecology - our audience had the chance to benefit from such a wide range of experience.
The doctors and dentists were open and honest about their struggles with maintaining a work life balance, lack of representation, and intersectionality for black female medics. It was a privilege to host such an event. Our panelists instilled a sense of self-belief and excellence into our attendees, which is demonstrated in each and every panellist.
